Frequently Asked Questions – quick answers

To help you quickly find the key information, we’ve put together the most frequently asked questions about our services.

General Requirements

Yes, it is included in the HACCP concept as a flow chart. The determination of customer-specific cleaning programs is documented in the ISO manual.

Safety and Hygiene Standards

Our hygiene controls are defined in the Hygiene Management Manual and can be reviewed on-site at any time.

Disinfecting wash process in accordance with the requirements of the Robert Koch Institute’s Guidelines for Hospital Hygiene and Infection Prevention and the standards of DIN 10524 Food Hygiene.
Yes, on the folding table, including residual moisture measurement. (A011-000/ISO Manual)

All system components that come into direct contact with the Big Bags are made of stainless steel.

Conductivity measurement in the final rinse bath – a common practice in the laundry industry.

Yes. Product and safety data sheets can be reviewed on-site upon request.
In addition, conductivity testing confirms that no residues of cleaning or disinfecting agents remain in or on the Big Bags.

Microbiological Requirements

Yes, see hygiene certificate. Germ reduction of at least 7 log levels.

Sensory Requirements & Reconditioning

In the standard process, not 100%. With odor-intensive products, a slight residual smell may remain, which does not affect sterility.
On request, it is technically possible to achieve 100% odor neutrality, but this is very complex and cost-intensive.

There are certain dyes, such as paprika, that can leave slight discoloration in PP material during the standard process. This is similar to odor neutrality: technically possible to remove, but rarely requested by customers as it is complex and costly. Moreover, such discoloration cannot be detected in swab tests.

Chemical residues are ruled out by conductivity testing.

Yes. We have carried out corresponding tensile tests, which can be reviewed on-site.

A complex question. Documented in the ISO Manual “Work Instruction Folding Table” (A011-000). This instruction is customer-specific and, in addition to standard checks (moisture, foreign objects, holes, etc.), also addresses the individual requirements of our clients. Available for review on-site.

By our experienced staff at the folding table, based on the exclusion criteria defined by our customers. In practice, 3 to 20 washing cycles are possible, depending on the specific design of the Big Bags (grammage, design for washing 6:1, etc.).

Traceability and Transparency

At the customer’s request, the respective batch number (batch = 30 Big Bags) is marked on each individual Big Bag using a stamp or waterproof marker. This number allows our processing steps to be tracked down to the exact minute. The corresponding data is stored for at least 2 years.

Available upon customer request and prior agreement. In many cases, however, our current certificates are sufficient.

Logistics and Capacity

We are not yet familiar with your production requirements. Our standard turnaround time is 5 days, but in special cases it can be reduced to 1–3 days.

Our current daily capacity is 2,000 Big Bags, which we will increase to around 6,000 Big Bags by the end of 2025 with the opening of a new production facility.

Since we do not yet know your quantities and turnaround times, we cannot confirm whether we can meet them. At present, 1,000 units within 3 days are possible.

We are always flexible and able to respond to our customers’ requirements at very short notice. Especially in cases of bottlenecks caused by supply chain issues for new Big Bags, we have recently been able to provide valuable support to our clients.
